"S-MOD" ADAPTER

Do you look over at your flying partner’s headset and think "I wish I could plug tunes into my Bose™ Aviation X™ Headset." Now you can, Montana Mods has designed an adapter that allows you to plug your i-Pod, MP-3, many cell phones and any device that accepts a 3.5mm stereo input.

This is the feature that the manufacturer forgot.  Our adapter replaces the manufacturer's cover which is used to cover the 5-pin plug on the unused (non-microphone) earcup.  If the microphone is mounted on the left earcup, our adapter goes on the right, and vice-versa.

Installation

For Your Bose Aviation Headset X to work properly with the S-MOD, configure the small switches under the AA batteries on the Battery Powered Control Module in the following sequence: Switches 1 through 4 Down - towards the numbers. Switches 5 and 6 Up - away from the numbers.
